A St. Petersburg city tour operator, The City Sightseeing company, added another route to its existing route to cover all major landmarks. Price policy changed also, now two-day two-route tickets are available which brings more comfort to travelers.
Currently, there are two city tour competing operators in St. Petersburg:
• City-owned City Tour;
• Private-owned City Sightseeing.
Until recently, the routes of the operators were slightly different: the City Sightseeing didn’t cover some historic sites, including the Peter and Paul fortress and the Cruiser Aurora, while their competitors did.
In April 2018, the City Sightseeing added a second route to fill the gap, which passes through the Vasilievsky island with its famous Spit, the Peter and Paul fortress and the site of the Cruiser Aurora. For those, not familiar with the geography of St. Petersburg (we guess you are), we put it briefly: the City Sightseeing tour now covers all the major landmarks for a newcomer.
Both routes start from the same place – the main entrance to the St. Isaac’s Cathedral (4, the Isaac’s square).

Tickets are available for only two routes (not separate) and only for two days.
— Russian residents, adults: 1200 rubles. Some categories of passengers enjoy discounts or free access.
— non-Russian residents, adults: 1700 rubles. Discounts or free for definite categories are available.
Earlier this month, the City Sightseeing introduced a 25% discount for Sapsan train passengers.
