St. Petersburg Pulkovo airport continues adding new routes to its network. Greece’s Ellinair airlines launches St. Petersburg — Kavala flight, Italy’s Alitalia — between St. Petersburg and Katania.
The Pulkovo press service said in a statement that the airlines would start operating on these routes in the summer. For example, the first direct flight to Kavala can be booked from June 5.
KLM and Finnair increase their flights to Amsterdam and Helsinki, AirBalrtic will be flying more frequently to Riga.
St. Petersburg Pulkovo airport served 595 935 passengers between 24 December 2016 and 8 January 2017, up 25% to the figures of 2015/2016. The most popular domestic destinations during the holidays were Moscow, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don, with Frankfurt-am-Main, Munich and Prague being most popular among international destinations.
Currently, the Pulkovo’s route network includes 150 destinations being served by 70 airlines.
