Russian air carrier, RusLine company, announced it would start operating on a few new routes from St. Petersburg, with some destinations not being served now by any of airlines. These are Tallinn, Vilnius and Palanga. That’s in line with other companies’ policy extending their network for the summer schedule which comes into effect as of March 27.
RusLIne press service said the company will be flying between St. Petersburg and Tallinn two times a day daily except Saturday when only one flight will be available. The flights will be in the morning and in the evening.
To Vilnius, RusLine will be flying two times a day on Monday, Wednesdays and Friday with one flight on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
To Palanga, there will be one flight a week on Saturday.
Flight program to Tallinn starts on May 22, to Vilnius on May 29 and to Palanga on June 10.
The routes will be served by Bombardier CRJs carrying up to 50 passengers.
Interestingly, that Estonian-based Nordica airlines also announced flights from Tallinn to St. Petersburg. The Estonians start at May 15 with their Bombardier CRJs with carrying capacity of 88 passengers. But unlike Nordica, RusLine has revealed their schedule and fare which is about $100 for a 50-minute trip.
