Travel By Sapsan Train For Half Price Week Before And After Your Birthday

Sapsan train

Russian Railways (RZD) introduce a 50% discount for Sapsan for passengers who celebrated their birthday recently before the trip and are going to celebrate it soon. And, attention, for their friends too!

Sapsan is a fast speed train going between Moscow and St. Petersburg that gets you over the distance of 600+ km for four hours almost at any time of the day with dozens daily departures in both directions. In Moscow, Sapsan arrives at and departs from the Leningradsky railway station, in St. Petersburg – the Moskovsky station.

In the first six months of 2017, Sapsan shipped 2.3 million passengers, up 8.5% to the corresponding period of 2016. Many observers reported full load of the train amidst tourism boom in both Russian biggest cities.

As of September, 5, you can buy tickets for Sapsan for half the basic price (additional services on board not included in the bargain) if you travel during a week before your birthday or a week after it. All you have to do to get the discount is to show up in front of a ticket-office and demonstrate a passport with your birthday day when purchasing the ticket.

That’s not all. Up to three friends of yours have a right for the same discount, the only condition here is that all the tickets must be purchase at once, in the same deal, and that all of you travel together.
