In January, Lux Express coach operator introduces a temporary schedule withdrawing 3 of 8 daily routes between the two cities. The new timetable is in effect as of January 11 and valid till January 31. Those who have already bought tickets for cancelled routes can get seats on other routes or full refund.
The company runs five daily departures on the St. Petersburg — Tallinn line, including one served by Lux Express Lounge, the company said in a statement. The move was caused by decreasing after-holidays-demand and the demand by Russian transport watchdog for Eurolines (LE’s Russian subsidiary) to suspend operations because of some technical problems with Eurolines’ vehicles. LE was forced to deploy its own fleet on the line which is not enough for eight daily departures.
Passengers with tickets for cancelled trips will get 50% discounts for all departures throughout the first half of 2017.
