The Russian Railways are to launch one more overnight daily double-decker on the St. Petersburg-Moscow line, making the lineup of services more attractive for different kinds of passengers. Recently, the sales of tickets have started.
The train №№ 7/8 will be operating as of 1st of February 2016.
Departure time from St. Petersburg (the Moscow station, or Moskovsky vokzal in Russian) is 21.52, arrival time to the Leningradsky station in Moscow is 06.06.
Departure from Moscow is at 21.50, arrival to St. Petersburg is at 06.06.
The train consists of 11 carriages, including one for disabled people. The carriage №7 consists of male, female and mixed compartments.
The minimal fare is 999 rubles. You can buy a ticket no earlier than 60 days before your departure date.
The first double-decker on the route was launched on 1st of February, 2014, №№ 5/6.
