St. Petersburg Museum Of Urban Electric transport started its retro tram round excursion route on April 15. A one hour excursion gets you through a part of the city downtown in the incredible atmosphere of a built between 1927-1933 (the series was in service in 1927 — 1968) authentic machine.
The excursions on the retro tram will be made on weekends three times each Saturday and Sunday at 11.20, 12.20 and 13.20.
The route is in operation till October 29.
The excursion starts at the Turgenev square in the heart of the «Petersburg of Dostoevsky» and goes along Sadovaya street to cross Nevksy avenue and get you through cozy narrow streets and alleyways and thoroughfares. You pass the Nikolsky cathedral, the Troitsky cathedral, Vitebsky railway station, let alone the city center is one big sightseeing as itself.
Price of excursion is 200 rubles, you can buy it before boarding or at museum’s ticket offices.
