The World Cup 2018 draw held today in the Kremlin defined the teams who will visit St. Petersburg this summer to play at the St. Petersburg stadium on the Krestovsky island (the Krestovsky stadium). These are: Russia, Iran, Costa Rica, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Argentina and Brazil.
We’re glad to welcome all the teams coming to Russia as well as all the guests from all the countries, and especially those who will play in St. Petersburg and visit the city.
St. Petersburg will host four group stage games and three play-offs, including one semi-final.
Now we know who will be playing here at a group stage (in a chronological order).
Morocco – Iran on June 15 (B3 – B4, these are the numbers of the teams given during the draw)
Russia – Egypt on June 19 (A1 – A3)
Brazil – Costa Rica on June 22 (E1 – E3)
Nigeria – Argentina on June 26 (D4 – D1)
Play-off games to be played in St. Petersburg:
• 1/8 finale on July 3 (1st place of the Group F – 2nd place of the Group E)
• 1/2 finale on July 10
• match for the third place on July 14
